Referencing the ancient gods of my ancestors, The Rat Emperor is an exciting addition in my growing Rat King Collection. I was so in the moment while making this—I loved the entire process, getting lost in adding each vibrant layer of violet and gold, one after the other, turning a vile rodent into an all-powerful deity.
