Sweet Tooth
Created in the isolation of late-night hours, Sweet Tooth is a diary of rituals in the dark and the persistent, internal voices that haunt our subconscious.
I would come home night after night and just add faces to this canvas. It was just me, the painting, and a single bright light shining down on us, all set against the chaos of midnight sounds out on the streets of downtown LA. The final composition is dominated by this haunting array of warped faces that seem to melt and scream within a heavy atmosphere of magenta, ochre, and deep violet.
