A Collaboration by Cassandra Carrillo x Gloria Molina Grand Park

Her newest project, The Grand Disco Benches, created in collaboration with Gloria Molina Grand Park, transforms two of the park’s iconic pink benches into reflective sculptures honoring their new cultural significance. Once simple places to rest, these benches became symbols of community and protection that help strengthen our bonds, not just to rest but to resist. Reimagined through a disco aesthetic, they stand as monuments to resilience, joy, and the power of Angelenos coming together in challenging times.
