Every crown has a beginning, and every king must eventually ascend. The Rat Emperor represents a pivotal evolution in the lineage of my Rat Kings—a transformation from a collective struggle into a singular, commanding presence. Birthed in April 2025, this piece captures the moment of metamorphosis where the humble becomes heraldic. Bathed in vibrant violets and regal golds, the Emperor invites the viewer to find majesty in the misunderstood and power in the unexpected.
