The Mushroom Goddess (2025)

The Mushroom Goddess is a commanding, large-scale presence that blurs the line between botanical growth and divine entity. Standing at an impressive six feet tall, this piece was born from a period of intense, intuitive creation where I became a vessel and the Goddess possessed me and created herself.

The composition features a towering, elongated neck of a Goddess with the head of a mushroom cap with a glowing, honey-gold fungal cap that drips with a visceral, amber-like essence. Her body is a landscape of high-contrast magentas and deep violets, appearing both skeletal and fluid, as if she is caught in a perpetual state of blooming or melting. Painted on reclaimed wood, the natural grain adds an organic, grounded history to a figure that feels entirely otherworldly.
